Fix Landscape View Issue with Themes on Storm 5.0 OS

If you’ve recently updated to Verizon’s Official 5.0 OS Release software for BlackBerry Storm 9530, then there’s a chance you’ve noticed a problem when viewing custom themes in landscape mode. I’ve found a method that solves the problem without too much stress. Here are the three required steps.
1. Change Homesceen Wallpaper (Can be any image as long as it’s a file from media card/device memory)
2. Press Menu > Options > Layout > Change to Today. Save and exit.
3. Press Menu > Options > Layout > Change back to two rows. Save and exit.
The landscape view should now function normally. The Layout changes need to be done after any wallpaper change. Be sure to tell your friends about this quick fix!

Thanks for the fast fix – works great, but everytime I turn off the storm, I need to go through these steps again or the screen is back to the way it was. Any way to make it stay?
how do you do this with the storm 2?
I tried the above steps and am still getting the white bars on the sides of the screen in landscape mode.
I love the Iberry_today_plus theme, but this white sides issues is driving me to see if another today plus theme has the same issues.
thank you so much!
