Only small problem I have with it is that it doesn't have separate message icons for sms and e-mail. I get a lot of e-mails per day and only a few sms-messages so I like to keep those messageboxes separated. But if I do it doesn't show new sms messages on the todayscreen. If I start browsing my agenda I DO get two icons but on the mainscreen it shows only the e-mail icon.

Is it possible to add a separate icon for text messages?
Yes it is. Just go to Messages > Options > Separate inboxes.

Enjoy.

Thanks, that's what I tried but the thing is that the theme only shows one of those little yellow envelope icons on the top right of the screen. Only the e-mail icon and not the sms icon even with separate inboxes.

Was hoping you could add one.

I DID just find out that if I put the big (green) sms icon on my frontpage (making it one of the first 5 icons) it shows a red v mark when there's a new message so that basically fixes my little gripe. But still that small yellow icon on the top right would be just perfect since that should also show when my blackberry is locked.

Default icons

I agree with you. This is a great theme... but all my notification icons at the top are gone... no smiley face for the BBM... the message icon goes over the voicemail "tape". i liked having separate icons at the top... but i also just did what you did with the big 5 at the bottom... thats my only gripe too... other than that... this is PERFECT

Theme updated. Redownload it using the same links and let me know if the problem still exists. Thanks.

Do i have to delete the first one.. or does it override? If i have to delete... how do i do that?

Next quick question... can i change what an icon is connected to? for instance ..blackberry messenger is connected to the "AIM" looking icon... but the Icon withthe smiley face (which looks like it should be for BBM) is connected to voice dialing... How do i change that? If it cant be changed... its no problem .. i still LOVE this theme!

I just installed the latest and I still have combined SMS and EMAIL notifications in one icon on the home screen. And when the lock screen is enabled, the notifications do not display at all. I have to constantly unlock my device just to check if I have any messages that I missed. If I use one of the themes that came pre-installed with the device, notifications flow through to the lock screen just fine. That has been MY biggest issue, otherwise this would be perfect. However, there were no Today Plus themes from Sprint, and I really like this layout versus just the Today or Zen themes.

I am using a BB 8830 with OS v4.5.0.135. Is anyone else getting notification icons on their lock screen?

I still love the themes though and thank you for taking the time to create!

You can separate the inboxes by going to messages > options > separate. This will make SMS and EMAIL separate.

I don't know why you don't receive the notifications. Is it like that will all of Gemblock's themes or just this one?

Let me know as I want to help you out.

Hi Artem!

All of the Gemblock themes that I have tried are not showing any notifications on the lockscreen. I think I also posted in another forum for the Flamboyant one as well. That is my absolute favorite one.

Don't kill yourself over it, just am puzzled what is stopping them from flowing through to the lock screen too.

Thanks!
Kevin

This is a terrific theme.

The only thing I'd suggest changing is a couple colors. On the main screen, the grey bar that moves with the trackwheel to highlight your calendar items or messages is near impossible to see in bright light. If this were another color other than grey it would be nice.

Also, on the facebook application the options screen has white writing on a light blue background. Also tough to see the options without scrolling onto them.

If the above could/was changed, this would be the ultimate theme. Although I must say, its pretty damn close as is.

Nice work.
